How Modersy Interior Works — From First Call to Final Installation
Modersy Interior is a Calgary-based custom cabinet manufacturer with a team of 35 skilled professionals and over 20 years of combined industry experience. We serve residential and commercial clients across Alberta and British Columbia — delivering premium custom cabinetry on time, every time.
Our Step-by-Step Process
Step 1 — Initial Consultation (Free)
Every Modersy project starts with a conversation. Call us at 403-764-7667 or visit our showroom at Bay #10, 6125 11 St SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2L6. During this first meeting we:
- Listen to your requirements and understand your vision
- Walk you through our full range of materials, finishes, and hardware options
- Help you select the right combination of materials and colours for your project
- Assess your space and discuss design possibilities
Step 2 — Design Presentation & Quote
After the initial consultation, our design team prepares detailed drawings of your project. We then schedule a second meeting where we:
- Present your design drawings and discuss every detail
- Review and finalize all specifications
- Provide your firm project price — no hidden costs, no surprises
Step 3 — Order Confirmation & 50% Deposit
Once you are ready to proceed, we require a 50% deposit to begin production. This covers:
- Final site measurements
- Finalization of drawings
- Full 3D render of your project
- Final design sign-off before production begins
Step 4 — Production
All cabinets are manufactured at our Calgary facility. Production timelines depend on your chosen materials:
- Pre-finished fronts (Tafisa, Karisma, Uniboard, Olon, Shinnoki): 2–3 weeks
- Premium Wood Veneer (custom stain): 3–4 weeks
- Painted MDF (flat, shaker, slim shaker, custom trim): 3–4 weeks
We discuss exact timelines with every client at the time of order and commit to delivery and installation dates we can meet.
Step 5 — Delivery & Professional Installation
Installation is carried out exclusively by our own Modersy crew — we never use subcontractors. Installation timelines vary by project scope:
- Single kitchen + one bathroom: 3–5 days
- Full home (kitchen, vanities, closets, laundry, spice kitchen, butler’s pantry): up to 2 weeks
- Multi-storey home with multiple rooms: timelines discussed and agreed at project sign-off
Warranty
All Modersy cabinets include a 12-month warranty on hardware and materials from the date of production. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and material quality under normal usage conditions.
Please note: The warranty does not cover client-caused damage or projects where the client has chosen to self-install. In self-installation cases, Modersy cannot be held responsible for damage incurred during installation, and the product warranty is voided. Professional installation by our team is always recommended to protect your investment.
